Job Description: DevOps Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive DevOps Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for integrating continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, managing our infrastructure configuration, and ensuring system reliability. You will work closely with development and operations teams to automate workflows, streamline deployments for both Linux and Windows-based .NET applications, and ensure the highest levels of system health and performance.

Key Responsibilities

CI/CD Automation

Pipeline Management: Strive for continuous improvement by building, maintaining, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub for diverse application stacks, including .NET Framework and .NET Core.
Deployment Automation: Implement and manage declarative, continuous delivery workflows utilizing ArgoCD, Jenkins to ensure automated, reliable application deployments.
Version Control Integration: Manage source code repositories, branching strategies, and collaboration workflows via GitHub.

Infrastructure as Code (IaC) & Configuration Management

Infrastructure Provisioning: Automate the provisioning and lifecycle management of infrastructure environments using Terraform.
Configuration Automation: Manage server configuration, application dependencies, and consistent environment setup using Ansible.
System Administration: Manage, maintain, and secure Linux and Windows-based server infrastructure (including IIS management) to support application deployment pipelines.
Code & Playbook Development: Write, test, and maintain reusable Terraform modules and Ansible playbooks/roles for consistent, version-controlled cross-platform deployment.

Observability & Operations

Monitoring & Alerting: Implement continuous monitoring and alerting solutions to ensure system health and quick incident response using Prometheus.
Data Visualization: Design, build, and maintain comprehensive observability dashboards and metrics tracking using Grafana.
Troubleshooting: Provide excellent troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for complex infrastructure and application deployment issues.
Agile Collaboration: Actively participate in Agile ceremonies and champion DevOps principles across engineering teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Core DevOps Toolchain

Version Control: GitHub.
Continuous Integration: Jenkins.
Continuous Delivery: ArgoCD, Jenkins.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Terraform.
Configuration Management: Ansible.
Monitoring & Visualization: Prometheus and Grafana.

Operating Systems, Application Stacks & Scripting

OS: Strong hands-on experience with Linux and Windows server environments.
Application Frameworks: Proven experience building, packaging, and deploying Java, Flutter,.NET and .NET Core , etc applications.
Scripting Languages: Strong understanding of scripting languages necessary for automation, such as PowerShell for Windows environments, as well as Bash, YAML, or Python.

General Competencies & Preferred Qualifications

Solid awareness of critical concepts in DevOps and Agile principles.
Strong understanding of open-source technologies and their secure implementation.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally.
