Project Engineer Electrical- OHTL

Position: Project Electrical Engineer – OHTL
Location: Saudi Arabia
Project: 380kV+ Overhead Transmission Line (OHTL)
Experience: 10–15 Years
Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering

Job Purpose

Responsible for the site execution and supervision of 380kV and above OHTL projects , ensuring works are completed safely, on schedule, and as per approved drawings, specifications and SEC requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day electrical execution activities for 380kV+ OHTL projects.
• Supervise tower erection, conductor stringing, OPGW installation, sagging and tensioning activities.
• Coordinate with construction teams, subcontractors, survey teams and site engineers.
• Review approved drawings, method statements and technical specifications before execution.
• Monitor manpower, materials, equipment and daily site progress.
• Coordinate inspections with client/consultant/SEC and ensure timely clearance of activities.
• Ensure compliance with SEC standards, IEC requirements, approved method statements and HSE procedures .

Mandatory Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of relevant OHTL experience.
• Strong execution/site experience in 380kV and above transmission lines .
• Hands-on experience in tower erection, conductor stringing and OPGW .
• Saudi/GCC experience preferred ; Saudi project experience is highly preferred.
• SEC approval/SCE registration will be an advantage/requirement depending on project requirements.
