Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Solar Site Team Leader / Solar PMC Team Leader to lead day-to-day Project Management Consultancy (PMC) oversight for large-scale Solar EPC projects.

The candidate will be responsible for package-level coordination, monitoring project progress, managing interfaces between the Client, EPC Contractor, PMC and various engineering/construction disciplines , and ensuring project readiness for testing, commissioning, energization, HOTO and COD.

The role requires strong leadership, project coordination, risk management and stakeholder management skills.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate the Solar PMC team and day-to-day project activities at site.
Monitor EPC work-front readiness, project sequencing, resources and construction priorities across solar clusters.
Coordinate with Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, QA/QC, HSE, Commissioning and other project disciplines.
Monitor project progress against approved schedule, milestones and project objectives .
Identify and track project risks, constraints, delays and critical issues .
Consolidate discipline-level observations into action trackers, recommendations and escalation reports .
Coordinate between EPC, PMC and Client teams for testing, commissioning, energization and performance readiness.
Review and monitor testing and commissioning plans and ensure timely resolution of critical issues.
Drive closure of high-priority constraints, punch points and interface issues affecting cluster completion or COD.
Monitor contractor performance and follow up on recovery actions wherever required.
Ensure appropriate escalation of critical project risks and delays to the PMO Solar Lead.
Support overall HOTO readiness and project handover activities .
Ensure effective communication and coordination between all project stakeholders.
Prepare and present weekly/monthly project status reports and management updates.

Closure tracking for critical punch points and project constraints

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should have:

15+ years of overall experience in project management, PMC, EPC or construction management.
Strong experience in Solar PV / Utility-Scale Solar projects .
Experience in large-scale solar EPC projects , preferably multi-cluster projects.
Strong exposure to PMC/Owner's Engineer/EPC coordination .
Experience managing multiple project disciplines and construction managers .
Strong understanding of project planning, progress monitoring, risk management and project controls .
Experience with testing, commissioning, energization, HOTO and COD readiness .
Strong Client, EPC Contractor and stakeholder management skills.
Excellent communication, reporting, coordination and leadership abilities.

Educational Qualification

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering – preferably Electrical, Civil or Mechanical Engineering .
