Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented General Accounting professional to manage core accounting operations and support accurate financial reporting. The candidate will be responsible for handling reconciliation activities, journal entries, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage general accounting activities including journal entries preparation and posting .

• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and intercompany reconciliations .

• Support tax return preparation and related documentation .

• Review and analyze balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.

• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting as per organizational timelines.

• Identify discrepancies and resolve accounting issues in coordination with internal teams.

• Maintain proper documentation and ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.

• Assist during internal and external audits when required.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of General Accounting / Record to Report (R2R) processes.

• Experience with Journal Entries, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, and Intercompany Accounting .

• Understanding of financial reporting and accounting standards .

• Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle preferred) .

• Good analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / MBA (Finance) or equivalent.
