Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Underwriting & Credit Control Specialist to join our team in Noida. This role is vital in managing the end-to-end policy life cycle, ensuring accurate updates to client systems, and maintaining the integrity of our underwriting processes within the London Market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end policy life cycle, including MRC/Slips and bureau market policy documents, to ensure accurate and timely processing.
- Calculate premiums and prepare endorsements, ensuring all transactions are compliant and correctly documented.
- Oversee XIS signings and submissions, guaranteeing adherence to industry standards and protocols.
- Conduct thorough credit control functions, addressing queries and correcting discrepancies to uphold the quality of financial data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the efficiency of underwriting processes and client support.
- Assist in training and mentoring junior team members on best practices and procedural updates.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate operational processes, suggesting improvements for better service delivery.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 4-13 years of experience in underwriting and credit control within the London Market or US Market.
- Mandatory: Candidates must have hands-on experience in London Market/US Market / Premium Booking / Insurance Domain.
- Strong understanding of the end-to-end policy life cycle, MRC/Slips documentation, and bureau market policies.
- Expertise in premium calculations, endorsements, XIS signings, and submissions.
- Proven ability to resolve and manage credit control queries effectively.
- Exceptional attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with a diverse team.
- Ability to work UK shift hours (start time 3 PM or 5 PM).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional certification in underwriting or finance.
- Experience with data management systems and client relationship management tools.
- Demonstrated ability to train or mentor team members on underwriting procedures.
- Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and compliance standards.
