Senior Executive/AM - Purchase/Procurement Specialist

Job Summary

We are looking for a Purchase/Procurement Specialist with experience in the automotive industry to manage end-to-end procurement activities, vendor development, strategic sourcing, and cost optimization. The ideal candidate should have strong exposure to procurement of automotive components, supplier negotiations, and supply chain coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement of automotive parts, components, and raw materials.
• Identify, evaluate, and develop new suppliers while maintaining existing vendor relationships.
• Conduct RFQs, price negotiations, supplier evaluations, and contract finalization.
• Ensure timely procurement to support production schedules and avoid material shortages.
• Drive cost reduction, value engineering, and localization initiatives.
• Coordinate with Production, Planning, Quality, and Engineering teams for procurement planning.
• Monitor supplier performance, delivery schedules, quality, and compliance.
• Ensure adherence to procurement policies, documentation, and audit requirements.
• Prepare procurement MIS, spend analysis, and supplier performance reports.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in automotive procurement/purchasing.
• Expertise in vendor development, strategic sourcing, and supplier negotiations.
• Knowledge of automotive components, BOM, and supply chain processes.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle or similar) and MS Excel.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
