Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced
Procurement & Supply Chain Lead
to manage programme-level supply-chain visibility, procurement monitoring,
vendor expediting, manufacturing progress, inspection, logistics and material
delivery for a large-scale renewable energy programme.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in
project procurement, supply-chain management, vendor expediting and
logistics coordination
, preferably within
renewable energy, solar, power, EPC, infrastructure or other large-scale
projects
.
The role will focus on identifying supply-chain risks, monitoring critical and
long-lead equipment, coordinating recovery actions and ensuring timely
delivery of project-critical materials.
Key Responsibilities
-
Monitor
end-to-end procurement and supply-chain activities
across multiple project packages.

Track procurement status from
PO placement through manufacturing, inspection, dispatch and final
delivery
.
-
Identify
long-lead and critical-path equipment
and proactively highlight potential schedule risks.
-
Monitor vendor manufacturing progress, production capacity and material
readiness.
-
Coordinate with
vendors, OEMs, contractors, package leads and internal procurement teams
to resolve supply-chain issues.

Coordinate with Quality/Inspection teams to ensure timely
FAT, inspection, release and dispatch
of equipment.

Monitor transportation and logistics activities, including
shipment schedules, delivery timelines, damage, preservation and
replacement requirements
.

Develop and maintain
procurement and delivery dashboards
for programme-level reporting.

Track delayed equipment, critical materials and spare parts and initiate
recovery/expediting plans
.

Escalate supply-chain exceptions and critical delays that may impact project
schedules.

Assess supply-chain risks and develop appropriate
mitigation and contingency plans
.

Support commercial teams by identifying delivery-related risks and potential
schedule exposure.

Coordinate with site teams to ensure materials are available as per
project execution and installation schedules
.

Conduct regular reviews with vendors and stakeholders to ensure commitments
are achieved.

Prepare
critical equipment expediting reports, recovery trackers and supply-chain
risk reports
for management.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor's degree in
Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Operations or a related
field
.

10+ years of relevant experience
in procurement and supply-chain management.

Strong experience in
project procurement and supply-chain monitoring

Experience in
vendor expediting and material delivery tracking
.

Good understanding of
manufacturing, inspection/FAT, dispatch and logistics processes

Experience handling
long-lead and critical-path equipment

Strong vendor management and stakeholder coordination skills.

Good understanding of
EPC/project execution environments
.

Strong analytical, reporting and problem-solving abilities.

Proficiency in
MS Excel, PowerPoint and procurement/supply-chain tracking systems
