Experience

power, industrial oil, or electrical product sectors

Prior exposure to transformer oil, lubricants, or EPC-led supply
contracts will be an added advantage
Qualification

B.E./B.Tech in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering
(mandatory)
- MBA in Marketing/Sales is preferred but not mandatory

Special Requirement
The Sr. Manager– The role requires strong experience in handling
government and PSU tenders, including GeM, SEB, and EPC bidding processes.
The candidate must be skilled in preparing PQ documents,
technical/commercial bids, and managing EMDs, BGs, and inspection
coordination. Prior exposure to clients like NTPC, NHPC, and EPCs (e.g.,
L&T, BHEL) is essential. A technical background (preferably engineering)
and industry experience in transformer oils, lubricants, or power
equipment is preferred. The candidate must be proactive, detail-oriented,
and capable of independently managing multiple tenders, required knowledge
about Railways tenders, Handling Reverse Auctions.
Key Responsibilities
Tender Management
Identify, evaluate, and track tender opportunities from various sources
such as:
- Government e-Marketplace (GeM) & E-Procurement Portals
- State Electricity Board (SEB) procurement portals
- Central PSUs (NTPC, NHPC, BHEL, SAIL etc.)
- Large EPC contractors (L&T, Siemens, etc.)
Review tender documents thoroughly to assess eligibility, technical
requirements, and commercial terms.
Experienced in handling billing submissions through both Online and
Offline processes.
Coordinate the preparation and submission of:
- Pre-Qualification (PQ) documents
- Technical and commercial bid proposals
- Price bids, BOQs, vendor forms
Internal Coordination
Work closely with cross-functional departments for timely and accurate bid
responses:

Technical Team: Datasheets, product specifications, certifications
- Finance/Commercial: Bank Guarantees (BGs), EMDs, payment terms
- Production: For Material Readiness & Inspection.
- Logistics: Dispatch plans, inspection readiness
Maintain a compliance checklist for each bid to avoid disqualification.
Client & Stakeholder Engagement
Attend pre-bid meetings and manage all technical/commercial
clarifications. Interface with client procurement and engineering teams
for bid follow-ups. Build strong working relationships with PSU and EPC
clients. Support in negotiation of pricing and contractual terms post bid
submission.
Execution Support
Coordinate post-award processes:
- Inspection scheduling (TPIAs or client-nominated inspectors)
- Dispatch and delivery planning
- Payment follow-up and documentation
Maintain detailed records of bid submissions, win/loss analysis, and
competitor pricing.
Strategic Inputs
Track market trends, pricing benchmarks, and competitor activity.
Recommend improvements in documentation or bidding strategy based on past
results. Support appointment and coordination with regional sales agents
(if required).
Key Skills and Competencies
- In-depth understanding of government procurement frameworks
