Role Overview:

We are looking for a finance professional with experience in reinsurance accounting to manage financial reporting and regulatory compliance. The role focuses on preparing accurate reports aligned with Solvency II and UK GAAP standards while ensuring strong financial controls.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and review regulatory and financial reports in line with Solvency II and UK GAAP requirements
Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of reinsurance financial reporting
Apply knowledge of insurance general accounting to support reporting processes
Assist in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities
Perform balance sheet reconciliations and resolve variances
Support internal and external audits and regulatory submissions
Maintain and strengthen financial controls and compliance frameworks
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure data accuracy and reporting quality
Key Skills & Competencies:
Strong understanding of insurance general accounting (P&C preferred)
Hands-on experience in financial and regulatory reporting
Working knowledge of Solvency II and UK GAAP
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in MS Excel and reporting tools
Strong attention to detail and communication skills
