SAVP Ceded Reinsurance

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end Ceded Reinsurance Operations delivery across multiple process towers.
• Oversee operational governance, controls, stakeholder management, and service delivery excellence.
• Drive transformation, automation, process standardization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Partner with business stakeholders, brokers, and reinsurers to manage complex operational requirements.
• Build and lead high-performing teams while strengthening leadership capability.

Required Skills & Experience:

16+ years of experience in Reinsurance Operations with significant exposure to  Ceded Reinsurance .
Strong expertise across  Contract Administration, Premium Billing, Bordereaux Management, Cession Calculations, Recoveries Management, Credit Control, and Reinsurance Reporting .
Good understanding of treaty structures including  Quota Share (QS), Surplus, Excess of Loss (XOL), Catastrophe Programs, and Facultative Reinsurance .
Experience in interpreting and reviewing reinsurance contracts and treaty wordings.
Proven experience leading large teams, senior stakeholders, and transformation initiatives.
Exposure to reinsurance platforms and analytics tools would be an added advantage.

Experience in the UK Insurance / Lloyd’s Market is highly preferred.

Senior Reinsurance Operations Leader with 15+ years of experience in Ceded Reinsurance, leading large-scale operations, transformation initiatives, and stakeholder engagement. Strong expertise across contract administration, billing, recoveries, reporting, and treaty management, with preferred exposure to the UK/Lloyd's market.
