Insurance Accountant
Job Summary:
The Insurance Accountant plays a pivotal role in managing financial records
and ensuring compliance within the insurance sector. This position is
responsible for reconciling accounts, preparing financial statements, and
supporting strategic financial planning, ultimately contributing to the
organization’s financial health and operational success.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports in accordance
with regulatory guidelines.

Reconcile accounts and investigate discrepancies to ensure the integrity of
financial data.

Analyze revenue and expense trends to assist management in budgeting and
forecasting.

Assist in the preparation for audits by providing necessary documentation
and reports.

Collaborate with internal teams to implement and improve financial processes
and systems.

Monitor compliance with insurance regulations and reporting requirements,
identifying areas for improvement.

Support month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure timely reporting.
Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Proven experience in accounting, preferably within the insurance industry.

Strong understanding of GAAP and insurance accounting principles.

Proficient in accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).

Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.

Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional

Preferred Qualifications:
