Financial Reporting & Control

We are looking for a Financial Reporting & Control expert to join our finance team in Noida. The role requires strong expertise in insurance accounting and UK GAAP, along with experience in regulatory and financial reporting. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate reporting, maintaining financial controls, and supporting compliance with regulatory requirements such as Solvency II.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with UK GAAP

Handle regulatory reporting, including Solvency II (if applicable)

Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes

Perform balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies

Ensure integrity of general ledger and financial data

Maintain and strengthen internal financial controls

Support audit processes and liaise with internal/external auditors

Work closely with insurance operations, actuarial, and underwriting teams

Assist in regulatory submissions and compliance reporting

Analyze financial data and provide actionable insights

Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field

Strong knowledge of insurance accounting (general insurance preferred)

Hands-on experience with UK GAAP reporting

Understanding of financial reporting and control frameworks

Experience in regulatory reporting (Solvency II is a plus)

Proficiency in MS Excel and financial systems

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent attention to detail and time management

Good communication and stakeholder management abilities
