Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable (AR) professional with strong experience in end-to-end receivables management, customer billing, collections, cash application and reconciliation. Candidates from the power generation, DG rental, equipment rental, energy or engineering services industry will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end Accounts Receivable process, including customer invoicing, collections, cash application and account reconciliation.
• Prepare and process customer invoices based on contracts, work orders, rental agreements and service completion documents.
• Monitor customer outstanding balances and ageing reports and follow up for timely payments.
• Perform cash application and ensure receipts are accurately allocated against customer invoices.
• Reconcile customer accounts, sub-ledgers and the General Ledger on a regular basis.
• Handle invoice disputes, credit notes, debit notes and billing discrepancies in coordination with internal teams and customers.
• Prepare and maintain AR ageing reports, collection reports and daily/weekly/monthly MIS.
• Coordinate with Sales, Operations, Contracts and Commercial teams to resolve billing and collection-related issues.
• Follow up with customers regarding overdue invoices and outstanding payments.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities related to Accounts Receivable.
• Ensure accurate accounting of customer receipts, advances, provisions and adjustments.
• Assist in maintaining proper documentation and supporting internal and external audits.
• Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and applicable financial controls.
• Identify long-outstanding receivables and escalate critical collection issues to management.
