Job Description:

Role Summary:
The R2R will be responsible for end-to-end Record to Report (R2R) processes including journal entries, reconciliations, month-end closing, reporting, and compliance activities for US-based clients.

Key Responsibilities:

· Perform end-to-end R2R accounting activities — journal entries, accruals, prepayments, fixed assets, intercompany, and general ledger maintenance.

· Execute month-end and year-end closing activities , ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

· Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations and resolve open items.

· Support financial reporting and variance analysis as per US GAAP / client requirements.

· Assist in audit preparation and provide required schedules to auditors.

· Ensure process compliance, internal controls, and SOX requirements are met.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams (AP, AR, FP&A) for smooth operations.

· Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation .

Required Skills & Qualifications:

· Education: B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) / CA Inter / CMA Inter.

· Experience: 2–6 years of experience in Record to Report (R2R) / General Ledger accounting , preferably in a BPO/KPO environment.

· Technical Skills:

o Strong understanding of accounting principles (US GAAP / IFRS).

o Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP / Oracle / BlackLine / Workday).

o Advanced MS Excel skills.

· Soft Skills:

o Excellent communication and analytical skills.

o Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.

o Flexibility to work in night shifts (US shift) .
