Job Title: Senior Data Engineer
Experience: 10+ Years | Band: C2
Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to design, build and scale data pipelines on AWS. The role requires strong technical expertise along with team leadership experience to drive data initiatives end-to-end.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable data pipelines using SQL, Python/PySpark
- Work with AWS services such as S3, Glue, Lambda, Redshift and Athena
- Build and optimize data processing and ETL workflows
- Ensure data quality, performance, and reliability
- Lead and mentor team members, driving best practices and delivery
Required Skills
- Strong experience in SQL, Python/PySpark
- Hands-on with AWS (S3, Lambda, Glue, Redshift, Athena, Step Functions, etc.)
- Experience with event-driven architecture (SQS, SNS, EventBridge)
- Good understanding of data architecture and cloud best practices
- Proven team leadership / mentoring experience
