Senior Technical Designer

Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior Technical Interior Designer to lead the technical aspects of interior design projects across all stages. The role requires a technically strong professional who can independently manage and deliver CAD/BIM drawing and documentation packages with minimal supervision. 

The successful candidate will work closely with designers, CAD/BIM and production teams, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure technically coordinated, functional, and buildable design solutions. 

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the technical design and documentation activities across various project stages. 
• Develop and review detailed technical drawings, shop drawings, construction documentation, and design deliverables. 
• Coordinate architectural, structural, and other technical disciplines using BIM methodologies . 
• Utilize Tekla for modelling, detailing, coordination, and project delivery as required. 
• Manage and coordinate BIM models and ensure model accuracy and consistency. 
• Review drawings and models to identify technical issues, clashes, and coordination requirements. 
• Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders. 
• Ensure technical drawings and BIM models comply with project specifications, applicable codes, and standards. 
• Maintain high standards of technical quality, accuracy, and coordination throughout project delivery. 

Mandatory Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering is mandatory. 
• 8+ years of relevant professional experience.
• International project experience is mandatory. (Preferebly for Middle East) 
• Strong hands-on knowledge of BIM methodologies and processes is mandatory. 
• Working knowledge of Tekla Structures / Tekla software is mandatory. 
• Strong understanding of technical drawings, detailing, coordination, and documentation. 
• Experience working with multidisciplinary project teams.
