Accounts Payable Specialist
Job Summary:
The Accounts Payable Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth
financial operation of the organization by managing the end-to-end invoice
processing and payment cycle. This position is integral in maintaining
positive vendor relationships and providing accurate financial reporting,
thereby supporting the organization’s overall fiscal health.
Key Responsibilities:

Process invoices accurately and efficiently in accordance with company
policies and procedures.

Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies to ensure timely
payments.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and verify documentation
required for payment approval.

Prepare and execute weekly payment runs while monitoring cash flow and
payment schedules.

Maintain organized records of all accounts payable transactions for
compliance and audit purposes.

Assist in the development and implementation of accounts payable policies to
improve financial controls.

Respond promptly to vendor inquiries and provide exceptional customer
service regarding payment status.
Requirements:

Proven experience in accounts payable or a related financial role,
preferably in a corporate environment.
- Strong knowledge of P2P processes and invoice management systems.

Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel; familiarity with ERP
systems is a plus.

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial
reporting.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
and deadlines.

Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with
vendors and internal stakeholders.

Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
Preferred Qualifications:
