Coating Inspector
Job Summary:
The Coating Inspector plays a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and
quality of coatings applied to materials or structures. By monitoring and
assessing coating processes, this position directly contributes to the

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough inspections of coating applications, ensuring compliance
with industry standards and client specifications.

Evaluate surface preparation and coating installation, documenting findings
and generating detailed reports.

Collaborate with project managers and engineers to develop inspection plans
and strategies for coating applications.

Provide technical guidance and support to contractors and team members on
best practices in coating processes.

Monitor environmental conditions to ensure compliance with applicable
guidelines during coating operations.

Identify and troubleshoot coating defects or issues, implementing corrective
actions as necessary.

Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and quality control
processes in accordance with company procedures.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

Minimum of 6 to 10 years of proven experience in quality control within
coatings or related fields.
- Certified Coating Inspector - BGAS/NACE Level 2 is mandatory.

Strong knowledge of coating materials, application techniques, and
inspection methodologies.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to
detail.

Ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients, both
verbally and in writing.
