Sr.TL Piping & Layouts

Job Purpose

To take a lead in assessment of detail engineering for piping in a design and engineering of petro retail projects. 

Job Accountabilities – Duties & Responsibilities

      . Engineer & Implement Projects to meet Business Requirements

• Finalise design, drawings, specifications, procedures for all piping and mechanical systems
• Finalise engineering deliverables like Plot Plan Layout drawings, G.A drawings, equipment layout, etc.
• Checking the alignment of the Project Engineering procedures in accordance to Reliance’s requirements & standard norms.
• Review of 3D Models

       Project Estimation

• Validate/prepare project estimates
• Analysis and control of man hours estimated for Piping related engineering activities
• Review of vendors and participate in evaluation of bids

Skills Required (Knowledge and Skills)

•          Preparation and Updation of DEPs

•          Appraise engineering Deliverables generated by the DEC

•          Interdisciplinary checks and co-ordination

•          Appraise Inputs to other disciplines

•          Automation tools and softwares

•          Technical Bid Evaluation Review

•          Review datasheets

•          Studying PFDs/P&IDs, Understanding process, operation, maintenance and statutory requirements

•          Approval of plant layout & equipment layout

•          Model Reviews

•          DoR Review and finalization

•       Preparation of Quality Plan

Key Attributes (Experience and Qualifications)

Necessary:

•          B.E / B.TechMechanical

•         Minimum of 15 Years of Experience in Project Execution or Piping Material Engineering.
