MEP Manager

Job Summary:

The MEP Manager will lead and oversee the Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) aspects of commercial interior fit-out projects in Pune. This role is critical for ensuring the successful execution of projects, maintaining quality standards, and delivering on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the planning, design, and implementation of MEP systems for diverse commercial interior projects.
Coordinate with project stakeholders, including architects, engineers, and subcontractors, to ensure alignment on project objectives.
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor MEP work progress and compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
Develop and maintain project timelines, budgets, and resource allocations related to MEP activities.
Prepare and review technical documents, specifications, and drawings to ensure they meet project requirements.
Lead and mentor the MEP team to foster growth and ensure high performance.
Identify and resolve any design, construction, or operational issues that may arise during project execution.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field.
10-12 years of experience in MEP management within the commercial interior fit-out sector.
Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems design and installation.
Proficient in project management software and tools for scheduling and budgeting.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams.
In-depth understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Engineering or Business Management.
Experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM) technologies.
Professional certifications such as PMP, LEED, or similar credentials.
Familiarity with sustainable building practices and energy-efficient systems.
