Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Lead QA to own and drive overall quality across applications. This role requires strong hands-on technical expertise along with the ability to guide, review, and coordinate work across the QA team to ensure consistent, high-quality test coverage.

Key Responsibilities

Own the overall quality strategy and ensure consistency in test case creation across the team
Review, audit, and validate test cases created by QA Engineers for accuracy, completeness, and coverage
Act as the primary point of coordination between internal QA teams and other stakeholders
Define and enforce QA best practices, standards, and processes
Support Agile delivery by actively participating in sprint planning, reviews, and defect triage
Collaborate with distributed teams with some overlap with Eastern Time (ET) working hours

Hands-on Technical Responsibilities

Manage and execute testing using Azure DevOps Test Plans
Perform API testing using Postman
Execute database validation and queries using MongoDB
Test microservices-based applications, including integration and end-to-end flows
Assist in defect analysis, root cause identification, and resolution validation

Required Skills & Experience

Proven experience in a Lead QA / Senior QA role
Strong hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, especially Test Plan management
Solid experience in API testing (Postman)
Working knowledge of MongoDB querying and data validation
Experience testing microservices architectures
Strong understanding of QA methodologies, test management, and Agile/Scrum delivery
Excellent communication, coordination, and leadership skills

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in large, distributed or enterprise environments
Ability to balance hands-on testing with QA leadership responsibilities
