Position Overview
The Program Director will provide executive leadership and overall Program
Management Consultancy (PMC) accountability for the integrated Solar, Wind
and BESS program. The role will ensure that recommendations presented to
the Client are coordinated, evidence-based, and aligned with critical
program milestones.
The Program Director will lead governance, decision-making, risk
management, stakeholder coordination, and executive-level program
oversight across multiple packages while maintaining a clear
accountability boundary between PMC responsibilities and EPC/OEM
execution.
Key Responsibilities

Establish and maintain program governance, decision gates, escalation
protocols, and reporting cadence across all project packages.

Provide executive-level leadership and oversight across Solar, Wind,
BESS and associated project packages.

Chair executive progress reviews, risk reviews, interface meetings, and
commissioning-readiness reviews with the Client and package leads.

Direct resolution of cross-package issues affecting COD, energization,
HOTO, safety, quality, contractual exposure, and stakeholder approvals.

Review and endorse recovery strategies, major risk treatment actions,
strategic change recommendations, and program-level closeout positions.

Ensure PMC services remain within the agreed governance framework and
that accountability for EPC/OEM execution is not diluted.

Provide executive oversight for critical project decisions requiring
coordination between the Client, EPC contractors, OEMs, consultants, and
other stakeholders.

Monitor overall program performance against approved milestones,
objectives, risks, and key deliverables.

Ensure effective escalation and timely resolution of critical issues
that may impact project schedule, cost, quality, safety, commissioning,
or commercial objectives.

Drive alignment among various package leads and ensure consistent
reporting and decision-making across the program.

Facilitate senior-level stakeholder engagement and support the Client in
making informed program decisions.

Ensure program records, governance decisions, risk positions, and
executive recommendations are properly documented.

Support program closeout activities and ensure outstanding critical
issues are addressed before final handover.
Principal Client-Facing Deliverables
- Monthly executive program report and decision log.

Consolidated risk and escalation brief with recovery recommendations.

Program readiness recommendations for Energization, COD and HOTO gates.
- Executive progress and governance review presentations.

Strategic recovery and mitigation recommendations for critical program
risks.

Educational Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction
Management, or a related discipline. A Master’s degree in Project
Management, Engineering Management, or a related field will be an
advantage.
Experience & Eligibility
20+ years of overall professional experience, with significant experience
in large-scale infrastructure, energy, power, renewable energy, or EPC
programs. Strong experience in senior program/project leadership or PMC
roles. Experience managing complex, multi-package projects involving
multiple EPC contractors, OEMs, consultants, and stakeholders. Proven
experience in executive governance, risk management, interface management,
commissioning readiness, and program-level decision-making. Experience in
large-scale Solar, Wind and/or BESS projects will be highly preferred.
Strong understanding of EPC execution environments, project controls,
contractual interfaces, and commercial risk. Demonstrated ability to lead
senior stakeholders and drive resolution of complex cross-functional
issues.
