Job Summary

We are looking for a GRMS Technician to support the installation, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and operation of Guest Room Management Systems (GRMS) in hotel and hospitality properties.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with GRMS, BMS, hotel automation, HVAC controls, room controls, sensors, lighting systems, and communication networks .

Key Responsibilities

Install, configure, test, and commission GRMS equipment and systems.
Troubleshoot and maintain GRMS controllers, sensors, thermostats, touch panels, switches, and interfaces.
Troubleshoot lighting, HVAC, occupancy sensors, curtains/blinds, and room control systems .
Configure room parameters, control logic, and system settings.
Maintain communication between GRMS devices, servers, BMS/PMS, and other hotel systems.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance.
Support new hotel openings, renovations, room commissioning, and system upgrades.
Coordinate with Electrical, HVAC, IT, Engineering teams, vendors, and contractors.
Maintain records of faults, repairs, maintenance activities, and spare parts.
Assist with software updates and GRMS/BMS integrations.
Ensure compliance with hotel engineering and safety procedures.

Requirements

Diploma/Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Automation, Mechatronic s , or related field.
2–5 years of relevant experience in GRMS, BMS, Hotel Automation, HVAC Controls, or Building Automation.
Hands-on experience with GRMS systems and hotel room automation is preferred.
Knowledge of electrical wiring, control panels, sensors, relays, actuators, and communication networks.
Ability to read electrical drawings and control schematics.
Basic knowledge of Modbus and other communication protocols.
Experience with BMS/PMS integration will be an advantage.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and emergency maintenance when required.
