AWS Data Engineer
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled AWS Data Engineer to join our dynamic team, where you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing scalable data pipelines on AWS. Your expertise will empower our organization to harness large datasets effectively, driving informed decision-making and fostering innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop efficient, secure, and scalable data pipelines using AWS services that meet the organization's data requirements.
- Implement ETL processes leveraging Python and Snowflake to streamline data processing and storage solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and provide effective data solutions and insights.
- Utilize Jenkins for continuous integration and delivery of data infrastructure changes to ensure smooth and efficient deployment.
- Write complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data from various sources for reporting and analysis purposes.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data processing workflows to enhance performance and reliability of data pipelines.
- Maintain documentation of data processes, workflows, and architectural designs to support ongoing projects and knowledge transfer.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 6-8years of hands-on experience in data engineering, with a strong focus on AWS data services.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL, with a solid understanding of data manipulation and analysis.
- Experience with Snowflake and its integration with AWS data services.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools, specifically Jenkins.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively in a hybrid team environment in Gurugram and Bangalore.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with AWS data lake architecture and design.
- Knowledge of additional AWS services such as Redshift, S3, Lambda, and Glue.
- Familiarity with Big Data technologies like Apache Spark or Kafka.
- Certification in AWS Data Analytics or Data Engineering is a plus.
- Experience in agile methodologies and working in fast-paced environments.
