Job Overview

DarGlobal is looking for an experienced Director of Hospitality to lead the hospitality strategy, development and operational planning for luxury hospitality and resort projects. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in luxury hotels/resorts and hospitality developments , with mandatory experience in the Maldives .

Key Responsibilities

• Lead hospitality strategy and operational planning for luxury hotel and resort developments.
• Oversee pre-opening, opening and operational readiness of hospitality assets.
• Manage hotel operators, consultants, developers and key project stakeholders.
• Drive service standards, guest experience, F&B, rooms, wellness and overall hospitality operations.
• Develop and monitor budgets, operating plans, KPIs and commercial performance.
• Support feasibility studies, operator selection, brand positioning and hospitality concepts.
• Ensure projects meet international luxury hospitality standards and brand requirements.
• Provide strategic leadership across design, development and operational phases.

Mandatory Requirements

• Proven experience in hospitality leadership, preferably at Director/Head/GM level.
• Mandatory: Hands-on experience with luxury hospitality/hotel/resort projects in the Maldives.
• Strong understanding of Maldives resort operations and island hospitality .
• Experience with luxury, ultra-luxury or branded hotel/resort developments.
• Strong experience in pre-opening, hotel operations and hospitality project development.
• Experience working with international hotel operators, brands and consultants.
• Strong commercial, leadership, stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
• International hospitality experience is highly preferred.

Preferred Background

Candidates from leading luxury hotels, resorts, hospitality developers, hotel operators or international hospitality groups with proven Maldives project exposure are preferred.
