Job Purpose:
Lead and manage the Finance & Accounts function for a major port/maritime organization, ensuring financial accuracy, IFRS compliance, regulatory compliance, effective budgeting, audit management, payroll, and strategic financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee AR, AP, GL and Payroll functions and ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Manage monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in line with IFRS .
• Lead statutory, government and internal audits , including closure of audit findings.
• Manage VAT compliance , regulatory filings and financial governance.
• Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, MIS and budget-vs-actual analysis .
• Drive Oracle ERP optimization, system upgrades, automation and process improvements.
• Conduct project feasibility, profitability, CAPEX and tariff analysis .
• Develop and monitor KPIs, Performance Management Systems and Balanced Scorecards .
• Support senior management with financial analysis, strategic planning and commercial decisions.
• Ensure compliance with UAE regulations and coordinate finance-related legal and contractual matters.

Requirements:

• CA – Mandatory .
• MBA Finance / Company Secretary preferred.
• 15+ years post-qualification experience in Finance & Accounts.
• Strong managerial experience within the seaport, port, maritime or related industry .
• Proven Oracle ERP Financials experience.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, VAT and UAE regulatory requirements .
• Strong leadership, analytical, reporting, audit and stakeholder-management skills.
