Open Market HL and LAP Specialist

Job Summary:

The Open Market HL and LAP Specialist plays a crucial role in driving the growth of our lending portfolio by developing and managing open market housing loans (HL) and loan against property (LAP) offerings. This position is vital for assessing customer needs, aligning products to those needs, and ensuring a seamless lending experience that enhances customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze market trends and customer needs to develop competitive housing loan and LAP products.
Conduct outreach and build relationships with potential clients, including realtors and property developers.
Evaluate loan applications and perform risk assessments to determine eligibility.
Guide clients through the application process, providing clear information and support at each step.
Collaborate with internal teams to streamline processes and improve service delivery in loan approvals.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards to ensure compliance.
Prepare reports on the performance of HL and LAP portfolios to identify areas for improvement.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in mortgage banking, lending, or a similar role.
Strong understanding of housing loans and property financing products.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to evaluate complex financial information.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills for building client relationships.
Proficient in financial software and loan management systems.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
Previous experience in a sales or customer-focused role within the financial services industry.
