Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Big Data Engineer with expertise in Big Data
technologies to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on
experience with Hadoop, Spark, and Scala, along with the ability to design,
build, and optimize large-scale data processing systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable Big Data solutions.
- Work on data ingestion, processing, and transformation pipelines using Hadoop, Spark, and related tools.
- Optimize and tune big data systems for performance and scalability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for data integration and analytics use cases.
- Ensure data quality, security, and governance across all systems.
Required Skills:
- Strong experience with Big Data technologies : Hadoop, Spark, Scala.
- Hands-on experience with distributed computing frameworks and ETL processes.
- Knowledge of data storage solutions like HDFS, Hive, or HBase.
- Proficient in SQL and data modeling concepts.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) is a plus.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- 4+ years of relevant experience in Big Data development.
