Job Summary
The EV Network Operation Center (NOC) Executive/Engineer is responsible
for real-time monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization of
the EV charging network. The role ensures high charger uptime, improved
transaction success rates (SCAR), and seamless customer experience through
proactive monitoring and coordination with field teams, O&M team and
charger OEMs.
Key Responsibilities

Network Monitoring & Incident Management
- Monitor EV chargers (AC & DC) through CMS/OCPP platforms.

Track charger availability, fault alerts, and communication status.
- Identify and analyse transaction failures and error codes.
- Raise and track service tickets for field resolution.
- Ensure SLA compliance and timely issue closure.

Performance & Uptime Management

Monitor uptime percentage and SCAR (Successful Charging Attempt
Rate).

Analyze recurring faults and coordinate with OEMs for permanent
fixes through connector analysis.
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly performance dashboards.

Technical Support & Troubleshooting
- Provide L1/L2 remote troubleshooting support.

Guide field technicians / Service engineers for issue resolution.
- Validate firmware updates and remote reset activities.

Support to resolve critical fault, communication failure, leakage
current, and hardware fault diagnosis.

Coordination & Stakeholder Management

Coordinate with:
- Charger OEMs
- CMS/Digital team
- Field Service Teams
- Escalate critical outages as per escalation matrix.

Participate in review meetings with vendors and internal teams.

Data Analysis & Reporting

Analyze charger logs (OCPP logs, status notifications, stop
transactions).

Track key KPIs:
- Uptime %
- SCAR %
- MTTR
- MTBF

Identify patterns in fail transactions (e.g., “Other” error
classification).

Recommend system improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications
Graduation/Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical / Electronics /
Instrumentation / Electrical & Electronics.
0–4 years of experience in related industries or any electrical or
electronics industries {EV charging operations, Electrical systems, SCADA
/ NOC operations, Telecom NOC (preferred)}
Technical Skills (Optional)
- Knowledge of EV charging standards (AC Type-2, CCS, GB/T).

Basic understanding of:
- OCPP protocol
- CMS platforms
- Electrical protection systems
- Leakage current & earthing concepts
- Ability to analyze charger logs.
- MS Excel (Pivot tables, dashboards).
- Understanding of RCD, MCB, MCCB, isolation monitoring.
Soft Skills
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting ability.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to handle escalations.
- Detail-oriented with proactive approach.
- Comfortable working in 24×7 shift operations (if required).
