Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Java Developer with AWS experience to join the engineering team at Happiest Minds in Pune. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Java development, Spring Boot, microservices, and AWS cloud services.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable Java applications.
Develop RESTful APIs and microservices using Java and Spring Boot .
Build and deploy applications on AWS Cloud .
Work with databases and write optimized SQL queries.
Participate in application design, coding, debugging, testing, and deployment.
Collaborate with product managers, architects, QA, and other development teams.
Troubleshoot production issues and improve application performance.
Follow best practices for coding, security, scalability, and maintainability.
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement.

Must-Have Skills

Strong hands-on experience in Core Java / Java 8+
Spring Boot
Microservices Architecture
REST APIs
Strong DSA
Strong understanding of OOP, Collections, Multithreading, Exception Handling
Hands-on experience with AWS
Experience with databases such as MySQL / PostgreSQL / Oracle
Knowledge of Git
Good understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies

AWS Skills
Candidates should have hands-on experience with some of the following AWS services:
AWS EC2
AWS S3
AWS Lambda
AWS RDS
AWS ECS/EKS
AWS CloudWatch
AWS IAM
AWS SQS/SNS

Preferred Candidate Profile
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Good communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
Experience developing scalable and high-performance applications.
Strong understanding of cloud-native application development.
