8–10+ years of overall experience in Retail Banking, with strong experience in branch management and business development.

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Branch Manager to manage branch business, customer relationships, sales performance, and overall branch operations. The ideal candidate should have a strong track record in CASA business, team handling, customer acquisition, and portfolio management .

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the overall branch business and retail banking operations .
• Drive CASA acquisition, deposits, cross-selling, and revenue generation .
• Manage and grow the branch's CASA book of ₹100 Cr+ .
• For MNC bank candidates, experience managing AUM + SA / AUM + CA of ₹80–100 Cr+ is preferred.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with HNI, affluent, retail, and corporate customers .
• Lead, motivate, and monitor the performance of the branch team.
• Drive achievement of branch sales, revenue, CASA, and profitability targets .
• Identify new business opportunities and strengthen existing customer relationships.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and customer retention .
• Monitor branch performance, business metrics, and portfolio quality.
• Ensure compliance with banking policies, processes, and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth branch operations and service delivery.

Candidate Requirements

Mandatory:

• 8–10+ years of experience in Retail Banking.
• Strong Branch Banking / Branch Manager experience.
• Current role tenure of 1.5–2+ years .
• Strong experience managing a CASA book of ₹100 Cr+ .
• For MNC banks: AUM + SA / AUM + CA of ₹80–100 Cr+ .
• Strong team management and business development experience.
• Excellent English communication and presentation skills .
• Candidate should have a consistent performance track record.

Performance Criteria

• Last 3 years' appraisal ratings should be in the Top 2 categories .
• Candidates with a rating of 3 for three consecutive years should not be considered .
• Previous higher CASA book should be highlighted if the current book is below ₹100 Cr.

Grade & Stability Criteria

• Candidate should be appropriately aligned to the current grade .
• Double-grade hikes will not be offered ; grade fitment should be checked bank-to-bank.
• No recent promotion should be considered for the current role.
• Candidates currently unemployed should generally not be considered , unless there is a genuine reason supported by relevant documentation.
