Power BI Developer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a talented Power BI Developer to join our dynamic team at EXL in Gurugram and Bangalore. In this role, you will create insightful reports and dashboards that empower our clients to make data-driven decisions, ultimately enhancing efficiency and driving business success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop interactive reports and dashboards using Power BI that provide actionable insights.
• Utilize DAX to create complex calculations and measures to improve data analysis and visualization.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure data accuracy and relevance.
• Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources using SQL and other data tools.
• Monitor and optimize performance of Power BI reports, ensuring timely response and accessibility.
• Conduct training sessions for end-users, helping them understand how to navigate reports and dashboards effectively.
• Stay current with Power BI updates and industry best practices to continuously enhance reporting capabilities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Power BI Developer with strong skills in DAX and SQL.
• Solid understanding of data modeling concepts and experience with creating complex data models.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
• Familiarity with cloud services, especially Azure, is a plus.
• Ability to work on-site 5 days a week in Gurugram or Bangalore, with provided cab facilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and writing complex queries for data manipulation.
• Knowledge of additional data visualization tools or programming languages is an advantage.
• Certifications in Power BI or related technologies.
• Proficient in creating custom visuals using Power BI.
