Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer with over 7 years of experience to join our dynamic team at Happiest Minds. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices to drive innovative solutions that enhance our applications and services, significantly impacting our business and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop scalable and high-performance applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.
• Implement AWS services to support application development and deployment, ensuring efficient cloud utilization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define project scope, and deliver robust solutions.
• Troubleshoot and debug any issues related to application performance and reliability.
• Integrate third-party APIs and Apache Kafka for real-time data processing and messaging capabilities.
• Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Adhere to best practices in software development processes, testing, and documentation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of proven experience in Java development, particularly with Spring Boot and Microservices.
• Strong understanding of AWS services and cloud computing principles.
• Proficient with Apache Kafka and familiarity with other messaging systems.
• Demonstrated ability to design and implement RESTful APIs.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure, meeting tight deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a team-oriented mindset.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools and practices for automated testing and deployment.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.
• Previous experience in a client-facing role or consulting environment.
• Exposure to Big Data technologies and frameworks would be a plus.
