Role Summary
Responsible for managing end-to-end financial reporting operations including disclosures, surveys, and statutory reporting. The role involves preparing critical financial data, ensuring compliance with GAAP/STAT requirements , supporting audits, and driving process improvements with a strong focus on accuracy, controls, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & Accounting
- Manage end-to-end financial reporting , including disclosures and surveys.
- Prepare and review critical journal entries , GAAP/STAT schedules, and Notes to Accounts before submission to onshore teams.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of reporting deliverables.
Compliance & Controls
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, STAT, and IGAAP accounting standards .
- Maintain strong internal controls over financial reporting (ICFR) .
- Ensure adherence to Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements .
Audit & Stakeholder Management
- Support quarterly and annual audits (internal and external).
- Collaborate with onshore stakeholders to understand business requirements and resolve queries proactively.
- Address client concerns and ensure high-quality service delivery.
Process Improvement & Automation
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency enhancement .
- Drive automation and improvements in financial systems and reporting processes.
- Demonstrate strong inclination towards financial systems and data-driven decision-making .
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Work extensively with large financial datasets and reporting tools.
- Summarize complex financial data into clear insights for senior stakeholders .
- Take ownership of reports, processes, and deliverables as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) .
