Azure Data Engineer
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Azure Data Engineer with hands-on experience in
Microsoft Fabric and Microsoft Purview to join our dynamic team. In this role,
you will play a crucial part in designing and implementing data solutions,
ensuring data governance and security while driving the organization’s data
strategy forward.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement robust data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and
Microsoft Fabric to support data ingestion and transformation.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and build interactive data
solutions that meet business needs and enhance decision-making.

Utilize Microsoft Purview for comprehensive data governance, ensuring
compliance with data privacy regulations and optimizing data management
processes.

Conduct performance tuning and optimization of existing data processes to
improve efficiency and reduce latency.

Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure data
pipeline reliability and availability.

Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and best practices
sessions to continuously improve our data engineering capabilities.

Lead technical discussions during client meetings to articulate data
solutions and gather requirements effectively.
Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in data engineering and
analytics.

Proven hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services, including Azure
Data Factory, Azure Storage, and Azure SQL Database.

Strong expertise in Microsoft Fabric and Microsoft Purview for managing and
governing data ecosystems.

Solid understanding of data modeling concepts and experience with SQL and
NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.

Experience with programming languages such as Python, C#, or Scala for data
manipulation and transformation.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with
technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:

Certifications in Azure Data Engineering or related technologies (e.g.,
Azure Data Scientist, Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate)
are highly desirable.

Experience with real-time data processing using Azure Stream Analytics or
similar technologies.

Familiarity with data visualization tools like Power BI to create insightful
dashboards.

Knowledge of data security best practices and familiarity with privacy
standards such as GDPR.
