About the role
Job Title: Project Engineer – Desalination
Location: Mumbai (Powai)
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer – Desalination to manage and execute water and desalination projects. The candidate will be responsible for project planning, coordination, engineering support, and ensuring timely delivery while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end execution of desalination and water treatment projects.
- Coordinate with design, procurement, and site teams for smooth project delivery.
- Review engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
- Ensure compliance with project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Monitor project progress and prepare regular status reports.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and vendors for technical discussions and issue resolution.
- Support installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities.
- Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
- Utilize CAD systems for reviewing and basic design modifications (if required).
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: B.Tech in Mechanical / Chemical / Civil / Environmental Engineering (from a recognized university in India).

Experience:
- Minimum 8+ years of total experience.
- At least 5 years in water treatment/desalination projects .
- Strong understanding of desalination technologies (RO, UF, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with CAD tools (AutoCAD or similar).
- Good knowledge of project management practices.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and work under deadlines.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in EPC projects related to water/desalination.
- Knowledge of international standards and codes.
- Exposure to site execution and commissioning.
