We are seeking an experienced finance professional for the role of Financial Reporting & Control – EU Reporting. The role involves managing end-to-end regulatory reporting, including Solvency II and UK GAAP financial statements, while ensuring compliance, accuracy, and timely delivery. The candidate will also lead a team, drive process improvements, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
Manage end-to-end operations for Solvency II reporting, quarterly management packs, and regulatory submissions.
Prepare and review financial statements and notes to accounts in line with Solvency II and UK GAAP requirements.
Ensure compliance with regulatory reporting standards and maintain strong internal controls.
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 8–10 members.
Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for reporting processes and cross-functional activities.
Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate financial close.
Support internal and external audits, including statutory and regulatory audits.
Drive process improvements, automation, and efficiency enhancements.
Handle escalations and ensure resolution of operational issues.
Participate in strategic initiatives, special projects, and ad-hoc analysis.
Anticipate client requirements and proactively address business needs.
Strong knowledge of IFRS, UK GAAP, and Solvency II reporting.
Expertise in regulatory reporting and technical accounting principles.
Proven ability to manage tight deadlines and reporting timelines.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Experience in financial reporting tools such as Oracle BI, Essbase/HFM, and Workiva.
Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, Power BI, and PowerPoint.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
8–10 years of experience in Financial Accounting & Reporting (preferably UK GAAP).
Experience in insurance accounting and Solvency II reporting preferred.
Strong understanding of regulatory reporting frameworks.
