Head – Automation systems

This role will lead the strategy, design, implementation, and optimization of Renewables Engineering & Design Automation solutions. This role is responsible for driving digital transformation, improving operational efficiency, and ensuring seamless integration of automation technologies with existing systems if any.

Required Skills:

·          Build strategy and vision aligned with business objectives. Define and execute the automation roadmap. Handles multiple functional teams, manages budgets, vendor relationships, and governance. Accountable for overall success of automation programs.

·          Identify opportunities for process automation across departments.

·          Evaluate and implement advanced automation tools including RPA, AI/ML, IoT, & SCADA systems.

·          Ensure scalability, security and compliance of automation solutions.

·          Oversee end-to-end automation projects from concept to deployment.

·          Manage budgets, timelines, and vendor relationships.

·          Build and lead a high-performing automation team.

·          Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

·          Establish standards, policies, and best practices for automation systems.

·          Ensure adherence to regulatory and cybersecurity requirements.

Experience & Qualifications :

·       Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science Engineering

·       15+ years of experience in automation systems, with at least 5 years in leadership roles.

·       Expertise in industrial automation, RPA, AI-driven automation, and system integration.

·       Strong knowledge of SCADA and IoT platforms.

·       Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

·       Relevant experience in the field of Solar PV Engineering Automation will be added advantage.
