Job Summary:

Happiest Minds is seeking an experienced Java Developer to join our engineering team in Gurgaon. The role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining scalable applications and cloud-native microservices, significantly impacting our clients' success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and Microservices.
• Build cloud-native applications and services using AWS.
• Develop event-driven solutions using Apache Kafka.
• Design and implement serverless applications using AWS Lambda.
• Containerize applications using Docker and adhere to modern deployment practices.
• Perform unit testing, debugging, and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, QA teams, and client stakeholders to deliver effective business solutions.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

• Strong hands-on experience with Core Java.
• Proficiency in Spring Boot and Microservices Architecture.
• Experience with AWS and relevant services.
• Knowledge of Apache Kafka and Docker.
• Familiarity with AWS Lambda and serverless application design.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs.
• Good knowledge of object-oriented programming and software design principles.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, and CloudWatch.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git/GitHub/GitLab).
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Experience in event-driven architecture and Agile/Scrum methodology.
• Background in cloud-native application development.
