Delivery Manager – Data Engineering

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Delivery Manager with strong expertise in delivery management, client engagement, and data engineering. The ideal candidate will lead cross-functional teams, manage client relationships, drive end-to-end project delivery, resolve escalations, and ensure projects are delivered within agreed timelines, scope, and budget.

Key Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end project delivery, from requirement gathering to production deployment.
Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships.
Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, dependencies, and delivery commitments.
Lead and mentor teams, including onshore and offshore resources.
Handle client escalations, resolve delivery challenges, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Oversee data engineering, data warehousing, ETL/ELT, and cloud-based initiatives.
Drive data platform modernization and transformation projects involving Netezza, Databricks, Azure, Informatica, and Oracle.
Ensure data quality, governance, performance, and delivery standards.
Collaborate with technical architects, business stakeholders, and leadership teams to achieve project objectives.
Track project progress, define delivery metrics, and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.

Required Skills

15+ years of experience in IT, with strong experience in delivery and project management.
Proven expertise in client management, stakeholder engagement, team leadership, and escalation management .
Prior exposure to Informatica and Oracle is mandatory .
Good understanding of Netezza, Databricks, Azure, data warehousing, ETL/ELT, and data engineering.
Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Understanding of data modeling, data governance, data quality, analytics, and AI initiatives.
Experience managing project budgets, risks, timelines, and onshore/offshore delivery teams.
Excellent communication, leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
