Job Overview

EXL Service is looking for a detail-oriented AutoCAD Design Engineer to join our growing design and engineering team. The role involves preparing accurate technical drawings and layouts using AutoCAD while collaborating with international teams. This position requires working in a UK shift and offers a Work From Home opportunity, with the office base in Noida.

Key Responsibilities

Create and modify 2D technical drawings and layouts using AutoCAD.

Interpret engineering designs, technical specifications, and project requirements.

Prepare detailed drawings, plans, and schematics for engineering or infrastructure projects.

Maintain drawing standards, documentation, and version control.

Coordinate with design engineers, project teams, and international stakeholders.

Ensure drawings meet quality standards and project timelines.

Required Qualifications

Full-time B.Tech / B.E. in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering field.

Minimum 1+ year of experience in AutoCAD design or drafting.

Strong knowledge of AutoCAD 2D drafting.

Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and layouts.

Good communication skills and ability to work with global teams.

Comfortable working in UK shift timings (12 PM / 2 PM start).

Preferred Skills

Experience in engineering, infrastructure, utilities, or telecom design projects.

Knowledge of CAD standards and documentation processes.

Ability to manage multiple drawings and revisions efficiently.
