Position	QA Engineer
Location	Pune (5 Days work from office)
Experience	5+ Years

Job Responsibilities:

• 5+ Years of Software Quality Assurance experience on enterprise level applications which includes Data Warehouse Testing.
• Experience in writing complex SQL queries, ability to determine the types of testing that must be conducted (i.e., data validation, regression, etc.), including evaluating the testability of requirements and creating a comprehensive test plan that supports the business and technological solutions being delivered.
• Should have experience testing multiple test phases in medium to large projects.
• Should have adequate experience and clear understanding of data warehouse and data mart testing.
• Identification and Test Data Preparation Techniques.
• Thorough knowledge of Software Test Life Cycle, Test Case Life Cycle, Defect Life Cycle etc. Proficiency with Test Case Preparation and Execution.
• QA Automation Test tools expertise in Selenium, Test Ng, Cucumber, Appium, etc.,
• Extensive exposure to Back end/ETL Testing with high-level of SQL skills is required.
• Possess experience in using Informatica suite of tools.
• Should have exposure to large data sets and understand Data Quality Framework.
• Experience in data analysis, including profiling, auditing, balancing, and reconciliation, in an information technology operating environment.
• Defect tracking experience.
• Experience in tuning SQL queries, Stored Procedures, Views, etc for performance improvements (Netezza Preferred).
• Knowledge of data models and entity relationship diagrams.

Key Skills:

• Minimum 5+ years in QA Engineer role for Data Processing ETL Pipelines (Informatica / Alteryx preferred).
• Experience in Industry Grade Automated Testing of Data Processing Pipelines.
• Expertise in Functional/Regression Testing of Data Processing Pipelines.
• Experience in Infrastructure Testing.
• Testing with mock data.
• Reports detailed software defects.
• Hands on Knowledge of Linux Environment.
• Python /Shell Scripting Experience.

Education:

BE/BTech or Graduate / Postgraduate in Computer Science / Information Technology.
