Professional Experience:

03 to 08 Years

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Preparation of Load Sizing, transformer sizing, cable Sizing, generator sizing, Battery charger & Battery sizing, Earthing Calculation & Lightning protection Calculation, and conductor sizing calculation for Plant & Switchyard.
• Preparation of Single line diagram (SLD), lighting layout, lightning layout, Earthing layout, Cable routing layout for Plant & Substations.
• Calculation of earthing system (sizing of main earth strip, conductor), Lightning protection system as per IS/ IEC/IEEE standards, and calculation of lighting system.
• Preparation of Power cable, Control cable & Interconnection Schedule for Plant & Switchyard.
• Preparation of specifications and Data sheets for various electrical equipment. Reviewing and commenting on vendor drawings & documents, carrying out Technical Bid analysis, and expediting with vendors for all electrical equipment, carrying out inspections, etc.
• Knowledge in Electrical Engineering Codes & standards.
• Power system study including Short circuit study, Load Flow Study & Motor Starting Study using ETAP.

Other Requirements:

Candidates should be flexible to travel long term or short term to various project sites and client/consultant offices based on the project requirement for document approval and resolution of site technical issues during execution.

Knowledge of Standards:

Knowledge of IEC/IEEE/IS standards and experience with major Clients/PMCs (ADNOC, PDO, Saudi Aramco, EIL, etc.) with familiarity in ETAP, PSCAD, SPEL, and 3D tools is an added advantage.
