Accounts Receivable - Credit Control Allocations
Job Summary:
The Accounts Receivable - Credit Control Allocations role is pivotal in maintaining financial accuracy and ensuring timely cash flow management. The successful candidate will leverage their expertise in credit control and cash allocation to enhance operational efficiency and support the financial health of our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the cash allocation process to ensure accurate posting and tracking of payments against customer accounts.
- Manage credit control to minimize financial risk and ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
- Analyze accounts receivable data to identify trends and recommend improvements to cash flow management.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and expedite the collection process.
- Prepare regular reports on the status of accounts receivable and present findings to management.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the London market, including both Bureau and Non-Bureau markets, to inform credit decisions.
- Administer account reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in reporting for effective financial oversight.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or a Master's degree (M.Com) in Finance or related field.
- Proven experience in cash allocation and credit control, particularly within the London Market.
- Thorough understanding of the Bureau and Non-Bureau markets.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and metrics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration across departments.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in managing financial records.
- Adept at using financial software and tools for reporting and data management.
