Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced professional to lead the Institutional Business function for the Kolkata location. The candidate will be responsible for driving Commercial Lines business through brokers and direct corporate clients while strengthening relationships and ensuring profitable growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and manage strong relationships with brokers and corporate clients to drive consistent business growth.
• Generate Commercial Lines business as per the defined budget and product mix.
• Handle end-to-end broker engagement including servicing, relationship management, and business development.
• Manage direct corporate accounts and identify opportunities for cross-selling and portfolio expansion.
• Coordinate with underwriting and operations teams to resolve servicing and underwriting-related queries.
• Maintain quote sheets, monitor business conversions, and track pipeline updates.
• Conduct portfolio reviews and risk analysis for clients and recommend suitable insurance solutions for optimum risk management.
• Prepare client presentations, renewal discussions, and business review reports.
• Ensure achievement of revenue, profitability, and retention targets for the region.
