Senior Java Backend Developer

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Backend Developer to join our innovative team in Gurgaon. In this pivotal role, you will design and develop scalable backend applications that enhance our enterprise-grade solutions, utilizing cutting-edge technologies to drive exceptional performance and user satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
Develop RESTful and GraphQL APIs to support high-quality enterprise solutions.
Build and maintain microservices-based architectures focused on scalability, security, and performance.
Implement event-driven solutions with Apache Kafka for asynchronous communication.
Develop and optimize MongoDB database schemas, queries, and aggregation pipelines.
Containerize applications using Docker and deploy services in AWS cloud environments.
Collaborate with frontend developers, product owners, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality solutions and mentor junior developers.

Requirements:

6+ years of experience in backend application development.
Strong proficiency in Java (Java 11/17 or above) and extensive experience with Spring Boot.
Solid understanding of Microservices Architecture and experience with event-driven development using Apache Kafka.
Hands-on experience with Docker, containerized deployments, and AWS cloud services (EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, etc.).
Experience in designing and consuming GraphQL APIs, as well as strong knowledge of REST APIs and API security (OAuth2, JWT).
Proficient in MongoDB and NoSQL database design, along with understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
Familiarity with unit testing frameworks such as JUnit and Mockito, and strong object-oriented programming skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Kubernetes (EKS/OpenShift) is a plus.
Knowledge of Terraform or Infrastructure as Code methodologies.
Experience with caching mechanisms like Redis and observability tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
Exposure to implementing AI integrations via Model Context Protocol (MCP) and LLM-based applications.
Familiarity with secure coding practices and application security protocols.
