Data Analyst - Azure Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Data Analyst specializing in Azure technologies to join our dynamic data team. In this role, you will leverage Azure Synapse Analytics and other Microsoft Azure Data Services to drive insights and support data-driven decision-making within our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain robust data pipelines using Azure Synapse Analytics and other Azure services.
Analyze complex datasets and provide actionable insights through advanced SQL queries and data visualization techniques.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data models that support business intelligence initiatives.
Utilize Python to automate data-related tasks and enhance analytical processes.
Monitor and optimize data workflows to ensure high performance and reliability.
Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations to communicate findings to stakeholders clearly.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in data analytics and Microsoft Azure technologies.

Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in data analysis or similar roles.
Proficiency in Azure Synapse Analytics and Microsoft Azure Data Services.
Strong SQL skills with the ability to write complex queries for data extraction and analysis.
Experience in programming with Python for data analysis and automation.
Solid understanding of data modeling concepts and methodologies.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Effective communication skills to present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with additional Azure services, such as Azure Data Lake or Azure Machine Learning.
Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
Knowledge of best practices in data governance and data quality management.
Ability to work in Agile development environments.
Relevant certifications in Microsoft Azure or data analytics will be a plus.
