Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Substation HVAC Design Engineer to lead HVAC and MEP engineering activities for substation and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in multi-project execution, HVAC system design, firefighting systems, vendor coordination, and project execution support from pre-bid stage through commissioning.

The candidate should possess strong technical expertise in HVAC design calculations, engineering reviews, coordination with cross-functional teams, and project delivery within schedule and budget constraints.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead HVAC and MEP engineering activities for multiple substation and infrastructure projects simultaneously.
• Manage engineering delivery from pre-bid stage through detailed engineering, execution, testing, and commissioning.
• Perform and review HVAC system designs, firefighting system designs, engineering drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications.
• Carry out heat load calculations, hydraulic calculations, ventilation studies, and equipment sizing using industry-standard tools.
• Coordinate with electrical, civil, architectural, and procurement teams for seamless multi-discipline project execution.
• Review vendor technical submissions, manufacturing drawings, material approvals, and ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Provide technical clarifications and support during procurement, construction, and commissioning phases.
• Monitor project schedules, resource allocation, engineering progress, and cost control activities.
• Lead and guide site execution teams to ensure productivity, quality compliance, and timely completion of works.
• Identify and resolve technical and site-related issues during project execution.
• Participate in inspections, testing activities, and commissioning support for HVAC and firefighting systems.
• Ensure design optimization, value engineering, and adherence to safety and quality standards.
• Prepare engineering reports, technical documents, progress updates, and client presentations.
