Billing Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Preparation, verification, and certification of contractor RA bills and final bills.

Review of BOQ, tender documents, and contract conditions for billing compliance.

Measurement verification as per drawings, specifications, and site execution.

Preparation of rate analysis for extra / non-tendered items.

Coordination with site team, contractors, and consultants for billing approvals.

Checking of quantity reconciliation and material reconciliation statements.

Review of supporting documents required for contractor billing and final settlement.

Monitoring billing progress against project milestones.

Handling billing for Civil, PEB, and MEP works as per project scope.

Ensuring billing is in line with contract terms and project commercial conditions.

Mandatory Requirements (As per JD Evaluation Points)

Candidate must have working knowledge of PEB billing (Pre-Engineered Building works) .

Must be familiar with billing procedures followed in large-scale industrial / infrastructure projects .

Should have experience in MEP billing (Electrical / HVAC / Plumbing / Firefighting etc.).

Must know documents required from contractors during RA billing and final billing .

Should be capable of rate analysis for non-tendered / extra items .

Must have prior experience working on Client / PMC side billing , not only contractor side.

Good understanding of general terms & conditions of contracts related to billing and payments .
