DevOps Engineer – Azure

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer with expertise in Azure to join our dynamic team at Next Decade. In this role, you will play a crucial part in optimizing our development and deployment processes, utilizing cutting-edge technology to enhance our cloud infrastructure and ensure seamless integration and delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement robust CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps to streamline application deployment.
• Manage and monitor cloud infrastructure using Azure services, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Automate provisioning and configuration management processes using Terraform to enhance operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues during deployment and production.
• Implement security best practices within Azure environments, ensuring compliance and data protection.
• Conduct regular system performance reviews and optimization to improve application scalability.
• Document processes and share knowledge with team members to foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Requirements:

• 4–6 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role, with a strong focus on Azure.
• Proficiency in using Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC) implementations.
• Solid understanding of Azure services, including Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure Functions, and Azure App Services.
• Experience with CI/CD tools, preferably Azure DevOps or similar.
• Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, or Python for automating tasks.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication skills and a proven ability to work across teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert or Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and involvement in Agile practices.
• Experience with monitoring tools like Azure Monitor, Grafana, or Prometheus.
• Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments and familiarity with tools for securing applications.
